Festival of Walking

5th – 13th October 2013

Welcome to the Festival of Walking – where you can find something for everyone, from Street Walks to hard core treks into the wilderness.

This 9 day event is a celebration of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage region spanning through to Lithgow and Oberon.

Over the next 2 months the Festival site will be populated with new and interesting walks for the 2013 calendar. Check back regularly to view the walks – or subscribe to our newsletter to get updates into your email. In 2013 there will once again be something on the menu for everyone to sample, from treks and challenging bushwalks through to history tours combined with local wine and cheese sampling through to many daily fringe events.

Promoting fresh air and our grand backyard, the Blue Mountains, Lithgow and Oberon regions invite you to put your boots on!
